ATS acquires Conexus from Mutares with Gianni & Origoni and BonelliErede as legal advisors

The international law firm Gianni & Origoni advised ATS – Advance Technologies System, while BonelliErede advised Mutares SE & Co. KGaA in the transaction. ATS – Advance Technologies System, a company wholly controlled by Maximum Return System Group, has signed an agreement with Mutares SE & Co. KGaA to acquire Conexus. Conexus is a portfolio company specialising in energy infrastructure, with approximately 250 employees and ten locations across Italy. The acquisition is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and satisfaction of closing conditions, including approval under the Italian Golden Power regime. Gianni & Origoni represented ATS – Advance Technologies System with a team composed by: partner Raimondo Premonte and associates Vito Quaglietta and Hansol Kim. BonelliErede represented Mutares SE & Co. KGaA with a team composed by: partner Fulvio Marvulli, managing associate Edoardo Fratini and Gabriele Provaggi.
