Mattos Filho and Lefosse Advise on Rumo’s BRL 2 Billion Debenture Issuance

Mattos Filho and Lefosse advised Rumo and Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), respectively, in connection with the transaction described below. The transaction consisted of Rumo’s 18th issuance of non-convertible debentures, placed in four series, in a total amount of BRL 2 billion. The debentures were offered by public distribution pursuant to CVM Instruction 160, as amended, and other applicable law and regulation. All of the net proceeds raised by the issuer through the issuance will be used for investments in Rumo’s infrastructure investment project in the transport and logistics area, specifically in the railway sector.
