BonelliErede assists UniCredit's entry into Generalfinance securitisation programme

BonelliErede acted as transaction counsel to UniCredit in connection with the bank’s entry as a senior investor in Generalfinance’s revolving securitisation programme of performing commercial receivables. The transaction involved UniCredit subscribing as a senior investor with an investment commitment of up to €100 million in the programme, which securitises performing commercial receivables on a revolving basis. Within the programme BNP Paribas, which also serves as arranger and programme agent, together with Intesa Sanpaolo and Banco BPM, already act as senior investors. BonelliErede represented UniCredit with a team composed by: Giovanni Battaglia (partner, transaction counsel/structured finance), Giuseppe Graniglia (associate, transaction counsel/structured finance) and Francesco Ponzoni (transaction counsel/structured finance).
