Chiomenti and Trapanese, Sebastianelli & Partners advised Rainbow in the transaction; Studio Associato Proserpio represented seller Elisabetta Dami in the sale of the International Characters shares; Studio Pluta Rechtsanwalts assisted Ing. Pietro Marietti in the sale of the Pietro Marietti shares. Rainbow, an Italian leader in the creation of audiovisual and animated content, has acquired the intellectual property rights to the Geronimo Stilton franchise. The acquisition was implemented through the purchase of the shares in International Characters and the shares in Pietro Marietti. The Geronimo Stilton books are published in Italy by Piemme, have been translated into more than 50 languages and have generated in excess of 190 million copies sold worldwide.
