Dentons Advises Trench Group on Acquisition of Reinhausen Power Composites' Composite Insulator Production Facilities

"Dentons advised Trench Group on acquiring the production facilities of Reinhausen Power Composites' composite insulator business, including machinery, equipment, software and IP. The transfer is scheduled to begin in summer 2026 and the facilities will be relocated to Trench Germany GmbH in Bamberg, expanding an existing site that manufactures insulators up to 800 kV."

Dentons represented Trench Group in its acquisition of the production facilities of Reinhausen Power Composites' composite insulator business. The transaction comprises the transfer of all machinery, equipment, software and intellectual property rights necessary for the development, design and manufacture of Reinhausen Power Composites' entire portfolio of hollow core composite insulators. By acquiring these assets, Trench Group strengthens its capabilities in the composite insulator business. Composite insulators are key components in transmission and distribution infrastructure and contribute to the performance and reliability of high‑voltage equipment across global power grids. The transfer of assets is scheduled to begin in summer 2026. The facilities will be relocated to Trench Germany GmbH in Bamberg, where they will expand the existing production site that already manufactures composite insulators up to 800 kV.
