Turunc, together with Kerr, Russell & Weber, Dentons, Trench Rossi Watanabe and Baker & McKenzie Abogados, advised Android Industries on its sale to Detroit Manufacturing Systems; Aya Law Firm, working with Foster Swift Collins & Smith, advised Detroit Manufacturing Systems. Android Industries is a US-based multinational provider of assembly solutions for the automotive industry. As part of the same transaction, Detroit Manufacturing Systems also acquired Avancez, an assembler of powertrain, chassis, and tire and wheel modules. Following completion, Android Industries, Avancez and DMS will operate under a newly formed entity, Voltava, creating an integrated automotive manufacturing, assembly and sequencing platform.
