Norton Rose Fulbright Advises mBank on Refinancing of Grid Deposits for Sunly’s Renewable Energy Portfolio in Poland

Norton Rose Fulbright advised mBank in a transaction concerning the refinancing of Sunly’s existing indebtedness to Eiffel Investment Group and the financing of additional grid deposits for a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Poland. The transaction involved refinancing Sunly’s existing indebtedness to Eiffel Investment Group relating to grid deposits and providing financing for further grid deposit requirements for the client’s development activities. It was structured to both optimise the existing financing arrangements and to enable continued growth of the renewable development pipeline in Poland. According to Norton Rose Fulbright, the arrangement covers approximately 3.5 gigawatts of planned photovoltaic and battery energy storage system projects being developed by Sunly’s Polish subsidiaries.
