Freeths advises Connells Group on sale of Mortgage Intelligence to OneDome

Freeths advised Connells Group on the sale of its subsidiary Mortgage Intelligence to OneDome. The transaction involved the sale of Mortgage Intelligence, a mortgage network founded in 1996 that includes the Life and Easy and Mortgage Next arms, to housing and fintech lender OneDome. The acquisition brings Mortgage Intelligence into OneDome’s growing platform, enhancing the purchaser’s position in the mortgage and property technology market and extending its network to more than 550 brokers across the UK. Freeths represented Connells Group with a team composed by: Corporate Director Hannah Tessyman; Managing Associate Maddy Scott; Associate Harry Fraser; and Legal Assistant Hugh Tweddle. Connells Group in-house legal team was represented by Katherine Stockwell, Group Head of Legal (Commercial) and Company Secretary.
