Dreny & Partners advises ValU on EGP 1.1 billion securitization

"Dreny & Partners advised ValU on the company’s 20th securitization of its consumer finance portfolio, a transaction of EGP 1.1 billion within a three‑year multi‑issuance programme totalling EGP 10 billion. The banking syndicate included EFG Hermes (financial advisor and lead arranger), Arab African, EFG Hermes and ABK as underwriters; Arab African also acted as custodian and bookrunner. Baker Tilly was the auditor."

Dreny & Partners represented ValU in relation to the securitization transaction of the company’s consumer finance portfolio. The transaction concerns ValU’s 20th securitization and amounts to EGP 1.1 billion. It forms part of a broader three‑year, multi‑issuance programme with an aggregate value of EGP 10 billion. The banking syndicate on the deal saw EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E. act as financial advisor and lead arranger. Arab African International Bank, EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E. and ABK served as underwriters. Arab African International Bank also acted as custodian and bookrunner. Baker Tilly (Hilal & Abdel Ghaffar) served as the official auditor.
