Be Packaging Acquires 70% of Paperskin to Strengthen Industrial Presence in Italy

Studio Porcaro Commercialisti & Avvocati advised Be Packaging, while Caputo e Accounting advised Paperskin in the transaction. Be Packaging, founded in 2014 by Biagio Flavio Mataluni, has completed the acquisition of 70% of Paperskin, a historic Turin-based carton-conversion company specialised in high-end packaging solutions. The transaction consolidates Be Packaging’s industrial footprint in Italy and extends the group’s capabilities into premium cartotecnica. This acquisition follows Be Packaging’s 2019 acquisition of Unilabel in Empoli and is presented by the company as a strategic step that strengthens its integrated and sustainable group model. By bringing Paperskin into the fold, Be Packaging builds a symbolic north–south link within Italy and opens the group to new opportunities in the food, wine & spirits, beauty and pharmaceutical sectors.
