Cederquist advises Mips AB (publ) on financing for acquisition of Koroyd

Cederquist advised Mips AB (publ) in connection with the financing of its acquisition of all shares in Koroyd SARL and SCP George TFE. The transaction involved Mips' financing for the purchase of Koroyd, a Monaco-based pioneer in the development of advanced impact protection technology for head and body safety. Koroyd’s technology is complementary to Mips’ existing safety systems. Mips specialises in helmet-based safety and is a world leader in this field. Operating under an ingredient brand business model, Mips’ safety system is sold to the global helmet industry. The technology rests on over 25 years of research and development conducted in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Mips’ headquarters, which employs 87 staff engaged in research and development, sales, marketing and administration, and its product and technology test facility are located in Stockholm. The Mips share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
