Mariscal and Eversheds advise on Ferengi acquisition of majority stake in Grupo Empresarial Bambú Restauración

Mariscal Abogados advised Ferengi, and Eversheds Sutherland acted as legal counsel to the sellers, in a transaction whereby Ferengi acquired a majority stake in Grupo Empresarial Bambú Restauración. The transaction involved the acquisition of a majority interest in Grupo Empresarial Bambú Restauración, the owner of the 99 Sushi Bar and KO by 99 Sushi Bar brands. The acquisition forms part of a strategic alliance intended to accelerate the group's international expansion. Ferengi is an international investment fund. Grupo Empresarial Bambú Restauración is a hospitality group recognised for its portfolio of premium restaurant brands operating in Spain and internationally. The Group will be led by CEO Jaime Castañeda and will pursue a growth strategy that includes new openings in London, Budapest, Doha and Miami to strengthen its presence across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.
