Giovanardi Advises on Sorec's Acquisition of Two Unsecured NPL Portfolios

Giovanardi Studio Legale represented Dolomiti SPE, the securitisation vehicle of Sorec, in connection with the acquisition of two unsecured non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios. Sorec, in partnership with Finint Investments SGR, acquired two unsecured NPL portfolios from a leading banking institution. The portfolios have a combined gross book value (GBV) in excess of €120 million and comprise over 29,000 positions. The transactions were carried out through a new compartment of Dolomiti SPE, Sorec’s securitisation vehicle, in partnership with Finint Investments. Finint financed the majority of the investment through the alternative investment fund Finint Principal Finance 3, managed by fund managers Manuel Murante and Riccardo Vigevani, with support from Senior Analyst Anna Dingillo. With these acquisitions, Sorec has surpassed 320,000 unsecured NPLs acquired and managed, for a total GBV of approximately €1.7 billion, underscoring the strength of its industrial model, its portfolio selection and management capabilities, and the effectiveness of its approach in a changing market.
