Farmacosmo acquires 33% of Farmacia De Leo with legal advice from Hogan Lovells and LS Lexjus Sinacta

Hogan Lovells and LS Lexjus Sinacta assisted the parties in the transaction: Hogan Lovells represented Farmacosmo and Farmacia De Leo, and LS Lexjus Sinacta represented the De Leo family. The transaction involved the acquisition by Farmacosmo — a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan — of a participation representing 33% of the share capital of Farmacia De Leo, together with the concurrent transfer by Farmacia De Leo of the business unit relating to the management of the pharmacy located in Messina. LS Lexjus Sinacta advised the De Leo family on the sale of the 33% stake in Farmacia De Leo and on the simultaneous purchase of the business unit relating to the management of the Messina pharmacy. The operation is aimed at pursuing a rationalisation of Farmacosmo Group’s digital growth, in line with the strategy initiated at the end of 2022. Hogan Lovells represented Farmacosmo and Farmacia De Leo with a team composed by: Paola Barometro (partner) and Edoardo Pea (associate).
