Stibbe advises the European Investment Bank on €500 million financing for ViA15 motorway project

"Stibbe advised the European Investment Bank on a €500 million financing provided to the GelreGroen consortium for the ViA15 project: the construction and upgrade of the final section of the A12/A15 motorway in eastern Netherlands. GelreGroen will design, build, finance and maintain the road for 20 years; the project includes a cycle route and a dedicated cycling deck."

Stibbe advised the European Investment Bank in relation to its €500 million financing provided to the GelreGroen consortium. The financing supports the construction and upgrade of the final section of the A12/A15 motorway in the eastern Netherlands as part of the ViA15 project. The GelreGroen consortium is appointed to design, build, finance and maintain the project for the next twenty years. The development completes a crucial link in the international highway corridor directly connecting the Port of Rotterdam to the German border. The scheme also includes a cycle route alongside the A15, featuring a dedicated cycling deck on the bridge over the canal and floodplain.
