Giovannelli e Associati advised the selling shareholders and the chief executive officer of Italgum Caramelle, while Cdr Italia srl acted as financial advisor to Italgum. Italgum Caramelle, a Piedmont-based company specialising in the production of gummy candies and gelées under its own brand and for third parties, has sold a majority of its share capital to the Candy Factory group. Candy Factory, the buyer, was formed in 2022 and is promoted by FVS and Clessidra Capital Credit through the integration of the Italian confectionery businesses Casa del Dolce and Liking. Giovannelli e Associati represented the selling shareholders and the CEO of Italgum Caramelle with a team composed by: partner Ferrante Paveri Fontana and associate Azzurra Selvatico Estense. Cdr Italia srl acted as financial advisor to Italgum with a team composed by: CEO Carlo Spagliardi.
