GÖRG advises REIFF on continuation of operations and transfer of business to ERIKS in self-administration

The transaction secures long‑term continuation and preserves the majority of jobs."

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised REIFF Technische Produkte GmbH in its self-administration proceedings until the transfer of the operating business to ERIKS. Grub Brugger acted as administrator and insolvency administrator for REIFF Technische Produkte GmbH and KREMER GmbH. RSM Ebner Stolz served as M&A advisor and Baker McKenzie advised ERIKS. The operating businesses of REIFF Technische Produkte GmbH and KREMER GmbH were transferred to the international industrial specialist ERIKS following a structured investor process. All conditions precedent for completion were fulfilled. The takeover secures the long‑term continuation of the operating business under a strategically suitable new owner and preserves the majority of jobs. The central objective of the self‑administration proceedings — the sustainable preservation of the company and its business activities — has thus been achieved. ERIKS will continue the acquired operations while maintaining existing customer and supplier relationships.
