Marval Advises Stellantis on Sale of 50% of FCA Compañía Financiera S.A. to BBVA Argentina

"Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Stellantis on the closing of a strategic alliance with BBVA Argentina through BBVA’s acquisition of 50% of FCA Compañía Financiera S.A., the captive finance company for Fiat, Jeep and RAM in Argentina. The deal adds a further joint venture between Stellantis and BBVA’s Argentine subsidiary."

Marval O’Farrell Mairal represented Stellantis in the transaction, assisting the company in the closing of a strategic alliance with BBVA Argentina. The transaction involved BBVA Bank, through its Argentine subsidiary, acquiring 50% of the shares of FCA Compañía Financiera S.A., a company that provides financing to customers and to the dealer network for the Fiat, Jeep and RAM brands in Argentina. The closing formalizes a strategic joint venture between Stellantis and BBVA’s local banking arm. Stellantis, formed by the merger of the PSA Group and the FCA Group in 2021, now establishes an additional joint venture with BBVA’s Argentine subsidiary; the parties already participate together in another vehicle-financing company serving Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles brands and their dealerships. Marval O’Farrell Mairal represented Stellantis with a team composed by: partners María Macarena García Mirri and Diego Krischcautzky, together with associates Lucía D. Trillo and Agustín H. Queirolo.
