Freshfields Advises Holcim on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Cementos Pacasmayo

"Freshfields advised Holcim, working alongside Peruvian firm Muñiz, Ramirez, Perez-Taiman & Olaya Abogados, on Holcim’s acquisition of Inversiones ASPI S.A., which holds 50.01% of Cementos Pacasmayo. The transaction values CPAC at about US$1.5 billion, is subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the first half of 2026."

Freshfields advised Holcim, working alongside Peruvian firm Muñiz, Ramirez, Perez-Taiman & Olaya Abogados, in relation to Holcim’s acquisition of a majority stake in Cementos Pacasmayo. Holcim agreed to acquire Inversiones ASPI S.A., the entity that holds 50.01% of the outstanding capital stock of Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A., a leading Peruvian producer of building materials listed on the Lima Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange. The transaction values Cementos Pacasmayo at approximately US$1.5 billion. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
