Law firms in Generative Bionics investment round

Gianni & Origoni advised Generative Bionics; BonelliErede advised CDP Venture Capital and RoboIT; Dentons advised Eni Next; Latham & Watkins advised AMD Ventures; McDermott Will & Schulte advised Tether; and Duferco managed the transaction through its in-house legal department. Generative Bionics, a start-up spun out of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) and active in the development of intelligent humanoid robotics, closed its first investment round of €70 million. The round was led by CDP Venture Capital’s Artificial Intelligence Fund and saw participation from AMD Ventures, Duferco, Eni Next, RoboIT and Tether. Generative Bionics aims to develop a reference humanoid robot for European industry.
