JSA Advises Lender Syndicate on ₹241.66 Crore Greenfield Financing for BluPine Energy 150 MW FDRE Project in Karnataka

JSA Advocates & Solicitors acted for the mandated lead arranger bank and other members of the lender syndicate, providing lender’s counsel services in connection with the financing for Solarcraft Power India 16 Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle owned by BluPine Energy Private Limited. The transaction involved a greenfield project financing of ₹241.66 crore ($290.53 million) to fund the financing, construction and operation of a 150 MW (AC) firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) generation project. The project will comprise a combination of solar, wind and a battery energy storage system (BESS) and is being developed at Aland, Karnataka. Solarcraft Power India 16 Private Limited has executed a long-term power purchase agreement with SJVN Limited. JSA Advocates & Solicitors represented the mandated lead arranger and the members of the lender syndicate in the financing for Solarcraft Power India 16 Private Limited (an SPV of BluPine Energy Private Limited), with a team composed by: Tirthankar Datta (Partner) who led the transaction; Sagar Srivastava (Principal Associate); Vedant Saraf (Associate); M.
