Flick Gocke Schaumburg represented One Equity Partners in relation to the latter's agreement to acquire Montanhydraulik GmbH. The transaction concerns One Equity Partners' agreement to acquire Montanhydraulik GmbH, a leading global industrial engineering and manufacturing specialist of high-quality ultra-large-scale hydraulic cylinders, aggregates and complete hydraulic systems, which also provides worldwide maintenance and repair services. Founded in 1952 and based in Holzwickede, Germany, Montanhydraulik serves heavy-duty sectors including infrastructure, electric grid, mining, hydropower, wind and mobile cranes, and employs more than 1,100 people across 10 locations worldwide. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction. Flick Gocke Schaumburg represented One Equity Partners with a team composed by: Matthias Full, Corina Hackbarth; Associates: Tomke Zeeh, Simon Lösel, Sophie Frombeck, Mauritz Müller (all Private Equity/Tax). The advice covered all tax aspects of the transaction, including tax due diligence, SPA advice and structuring. The team around Matthias Full had previously advised One Equity Partners earlier this year on the purchase agreement with BARTEC.
