Krogerus advises Northern Horizon on three care facility acquisitions

"Krogerus advised Northern Horizon on three acquisitions in Helsinki, Jyväskylä and Vantaa completed in November–December, expanding the Finnish sub-portfolio of its Aged Care Social Infrastructure Fund to 47 assets with 1,588 care beds. The deals comprise a 60-bed forward-funded care facility in Jyväskylä, a 45-apartment senior housing asset in Helsinki (completed 2022) and a residential care home in Vantaa (completed 2023)."

Krogerus advised Northern Horizon on three care facility acquisitions completed in November–December. The transactions comprise acquisitions in Jyväskylä, Helsinki and Vantaa and increase the Finnish sub-portfolio of Northern Horizon’s Aged Care Social Infrastructure Fund to 47 assets with a total of 1,588 care beds. In Jyväskylä the acquisition was a forward funding project purchased from a local developer; the project comprises a care facility with 60 care beds for elderly residents in need of 24/7 care. In Helsinki the transaction involved the purchase of a senior housing asset completed in 2022, consisting of 45 apartments, acquired from a local seller. The third acquisition, in Vantaa, concerned a residential care home for people with disabilities, completed in 2023.
