Clifford Chance advised The Generation Essentials Group (TGE) on its successful secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange, assisting TGE as it expanded into the UK market. The transaction involved TGE securing a secondary listing on the LSE while maintaining its existing listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE and LSE: TGE). Headquartered in France and jointly established by AMTD Group, AMTD IDEA Group and AMTD Digital Inc., TGE is a global leader in media, entertainment and film with a portfolio that includes L’Officiel and The Art Newspaper, as well as a range of film and entertainment projects. TGE also acts as a SPAC sponsor manager across media, entertainment and gaming sectors. The secondary listing supports TGE’s strategy to accelerate growth, diversify its product offering and extend its global reach. This matter represents the fourth London listing advised by Clifford Chance since the summer of 2025, following the firm’s involvement in the listings of Metlen Energy & Metals, Guaranty Trust Bank and Princes Group.
