DLA Piper Advises Helios on Creation of 3MDC Digital Infrastructure Platform in Morocco

"DLA Piper advised Helios Investment Partners on the acquisition of Maroc Datacentre (MDC), Munisys and Medasys to form 3MDC, a new Moroccan digital infrastructure platform. The transaction, carried out with Fipar‑Holding (a CDG Invest subsidiary), was financed by Saham Bank and aims to accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation."

DLA Piper advised Helios Investment Partners on its acquisition of Maroc Datacentre (MDC), Munisys and Medasys, a transaction carried out in collaboration with Fipar‑Holding, a subsidiary of CDG Invest, and financed by Saham Bank under the leadership of Mehdi Houmam. The transaction creates 3MDC, a new digital infrastructure platform designed to accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation and reinforce the country’s position as a regional technology hub. The platform combines MDC’s fast‑growing carrier‑neutral Tier‑3 data centre with Munisys’s capabilities in on‑premises cloud, cybersecurity, systems integration and digital solutions, while Medasys contributes complementary technological strengths and deep knowledge of the Moroccan IT landscape.
