Jeantet advises Agile Robots on acquisition of thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology’s automated engineering unit

Jeantet and German law firm Arqis advised German robotics company Agile Robots in connection with its acquisition of the automated engineering unit of thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology. The transaction concerns the purchase of the automated engineering unit from thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology. The completion of the operation remains subject to the usual regulatory approvals and is expected in the coming months. Agile Robots was founded in 2018 as a spin‑off from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Munich and currently employs more than 2,500 people from around sixty countries. The acquisition will strengthen Agile Robots’ position in the field of next‑generation intelligent automation solutions. Since its creation, Agile Robots has doubled its revenue each year, reaching approximately €200 million in 2024.
