Hogan Lovells Advises FCDE in Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire Majority Stake in Hemeria

The investment, alongside Hemeria management and existing investors, aims to bolster positions in sovereign space and defence and support innovation and growth."

Hogan Lovells represented client FCDE in connection with its entry into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Hemeria. The transaction concerns FCDE’s proposed acquisition of a majority participation in Hemeria, a French industrial group recognised for its critical equipment and systems for the defence and space sectors. The investment is being pursued in partnership with Hemeria’s management team and alongside the company’s historical investors. Founded in 2019, Hemeria is a French mid-cap (ETI) specialising in critical defence systems and sovereign space technologies. The group employs nearly 400 people across five industrial sites and reported revenues of €64 million for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2025. The objective of the investment is to reinforce Hemeria’s positions in sovereign space and defence markets and to support the company’s strategy of innovation and growth.
