Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Sidley Austin and Trilegal advise Brookfield India REIT on ₹3,500 crore QIP

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) and Sidley Austin advised Brookfield India Real Estate Trust on its qualified institutional placement, while Trilegal advised the book running lead managers Kotak Mahindra Capital, Elara Capital (India), Jefferies India, JM Financial and 360 ONE WAM. The transaction comprised a qualified institutional placement through which Brookfield India Real Estate Trust raised ₹3,500 crore via the issue of 109,375,000 units. The REIT will deploy a portion of the QIP proceeds to partially fund one of India’s largest REIT acquisitions.
