Latham & Watkins Advises Permira on Sale of Majority Stake in Boats Group

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Permira in connection with a strategic growth investment in Boats Group by General Atlantic and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Boats Group, a global provider of online marketplaces for boats and yachts, announced a strategic growth investment from General Atlantic and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. As part of the transaction, funds advised by existing investor Permira have partially realized their investment in Boats Group and will retain a significant minority shareholding, continuing their partnership with the company. The transaction is expected to close in H1 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
