Jones Day advises For Talents on minority investment in Leman Group and Metalis acquisition

Leman Group was advised by Moncey and Legalps, with local counsel Wyche (US), Hank Kun Law (China) and Peterka Partners (Romania)."

Jones Day advised investor For Talents, while Moncey and Legalps, assisted by local counsel Wyche (United States), Hank Kun Law (China) and Peterka Partners (Romania), advised Leman Group in the transaction. The transaction sees For Talents, an investment firm dedicated to family capital and supporting generational successions, subscribe as a minority shareholder of Leman Group to accompany the transfer of the business from the second to the third generation of the Bontaz family. The entry of For Talents into Leman Group’s capital was structured to facilitate a strategic next phase of growth for the company. With the support of For Talents, Leman Group — a reference player in the production of metal, plastic, metal‑plastic and mechatronic parts and subassemblies, present in six countries — completed the acquisition of Metalis from Aalberts N.V. The acquisition strengthens Leman Group’s industrial capabilities, broadens its technical competences including precision metal stamping, and advances its development on key technologies.
