Pegasus Airlines to Acquire Czech Airlines and Smartwings Advised by Addleshaw Goddard and Kinstellar

Addleshaw Goddard and Kinstellar advised Pegasus Airlines on its acquisition of Czech Airlines and its subsidiary Smartwings; Dentons reportedly advised the sellers. The transaction is valued at EUR 154 million, including related receivables, and remains subject to regulatory approval. According to Addleshaw Goddard, the acquisition will significantly expand Pegasus Airlines, Turkiye’s leading low-cost carrier, across Europe by adding Smartwings’ 47-aircraft fleet to Pegasus’s existing 127 aircraft. Czech Airlines, one of the world’s oldest airline brands, together with Smartwings, represents a strategic platform for Pegasus’s continued international growth.
