The transaction refinances a €175 million syndicated corporate facility tied to the Group’s performance on three environmental indicators: advertising space provided free of charge to non‑profit organisations; accessibility to television content through sign language; and incorporation of suppliers’ carbon footprint, which is key to the overall calculation of the Group’s emissions. CaixaBank acted as lead arranger for the transaction. BBVA and CaixaBank acted as co‑arrangers for the sustainability portion, with BBVA serving as sustainability agent.
