All firms in €124 million financing for Iron fund managed by Prelios SGR

"Ashurst advised the financing banks (Crédit Agricole CIB – Milan Branch and BNP Paribas – Italian Branch), while A&O Shearman, White & Case and EY Studio Legale Tributario advised Prelios SGR, on a €124 million loan to refinance a logistics portfolio in Fara in Sabina (Passo Corese) and Campagnano di Roma for the Iron closed‑end real estate fund, fully subscribed by Bgo."

Ashurst, A&O Shearman, White & Case and EY Studio Legale Tributario took part in the transaction: Ashurst acted for the financing banks Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank – Milan Branch and BNP Paribas – Italian Branch, while A&O Shearman, White & Case and EY advised Prelios SGR as manager of the Iron fund. The transaction concerns a financing facility of approximately €124 million, structured, negotiated and signed to refinance a portfolio of logistics assets located in Fara in Sabina (Passo Corese) and Campagnano di Roma. The funding was arranged to refinance that asset portfolio for the closed‑end alternative real estate fund Iron; the fund’s units are fully subscribed by Bgo. Ashurst represented Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank – Milan Branch and BNP Paribas – Italian Branch with a team composed of: counsel Luca Maria Chieffo (team coordinator); for finance, senior associate Giulia Lamon and trainee Silvia Mattioli De Agostini; for real estate, partner Andrea Caputo, senior associate Vincenzo Esposito and associate Sofia Rainaldi; for tax, partner Michele Milanese and associate Leonardo Sabatini. A&O Shearman represented Prelios SGR with a team composed of: partner Stefano Sennhauser and senior associate Marco Mazzola, assisted by trainee Laura Margelli, covering all aspects of the financing and coordinating the other advisors appointed by the SGR. White & Case represented Prelios SGR with a team composed of: partners Domenico Fanuele and Davide Cavazzana, assisted by associate Francesco Speciale on real estate and administrative law matters. EY Studio Legale Tributario represented Prelios SGR in the tax due diligence phase and in negotiating the tax aspects of the financing, with a team composed of: partner Alessandro Padula (team lead), senior manager Mario Naydenov (coordinator), manager Domenico La Barca, senior Giovanni Bruno and staff member Martina Doni.
