Alperia Green Generation (AGG) acquires Gea Rinnovabili with GOP and K&L Gates advising

Gianni & Origoni and GOP advised Alperia Green Generation (AGG) in the transaction, while K&L Gates acted for BayWa r.e. Italia. The transaction involved the acquisition by Alperia Green Generation (AGG), a company wholly owned by the Alperia Group holding, of 100% of the share capital of Gea Rinnovabili. Gea Rinnovabili is the owner of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of approximately 6.4 MW located in the municipality of Cerrione (BI), which was wholly held by BayWa (an Italian company belonging to the BayWa r.e. Group). Through this investment, AGG intends to develop and manage a portfolio of renewable energy plants following an independent power producer (IPP) operating model. GOP represented Alperia Green Generation (AGG) with a team composed by: partner Marco Molineris (team leader) and associates Fernanda Salomone, Chiara Vitale and Clarissa Ponte.
