Dentons Advises Mitsui on Sale of Interests in Oman's Blocks 3, 4 and 9

"Dentons advised Mitsui E&P Middle East on the sale of its 5% working interest in Block 9 and its 20% working interest in Blocks 3 & 4 onshore Oman to Kistos Energy Middle East Limited (a Kistos plc subsidiary) for US$148 million. Completion is subject to customary governmental and regulatory approvals and partner consents."

Dentons advised Mitsui E&P Middle East in connection with the sale of its working interests in onshore Blocks 3, 4 and 9 in the Sultanate of Oman to Kistos Energy Middle East Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kistos plc. The transaction concerns Mitsui E&P Middle East's sale of a 5% working interest in Block 9 and a 20% working interest in Block 3 & 4 for US$148 million. Completion of the deal is subject to customary governmental and regulatory approvals and partner consents. Block 9, operated by Occidental Petroleum, covers two producing areas. Block 3 & 4, operated by CCED, comprises seven producing fields and covers approximately 29,000 km² in eastern Oman.
