PLUTA Attorney Georg Jakob Stemshorn Secures Continuity for C&S Computer und Software GmbH

PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH represented C&S Computer und Software GmbH in the insolvency proceedings and assisted in securing the transfer of the business to C&S EDV Service und Entwicklung GmbH. Effective 1 December 2025, C&S EDV Service und Entwicklung GmbH acquired the company’s operations by way of an asset deal and assumed the employees. The purchaser acquired all tangible and intangible assets and took on responsibility for services, program development and sales, ensuring continuity of service provision. The business will therefore continue to operate without interruptions. C&S offers innovative software solutions for the social economy. C&S Computer und Software GmbH, part of the C&S Group, filed for insolvency in October 2025. On 9 October 2025 the Local Court of Augsburg appointed Georg Jakob Stemshorn of PLUTA as provisional insolvency administrator. On 1 December 2025 the court opened regular insolvency proceedings and appointed Mr Stemshorn as administrator. The company continued to operate without restrictions throughout. The PLUTA team led by Mr Stemshorn and business lawyer Mr Maximilian König reviewed restructuring options and conducted a process to find an investor, which has now been concluded.
