Noerr Advises Macquarie Bank on Financing of Polarise AI Data Centre Project

Noerr Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB advised Macquarie Bank on the funding of the Polarise GmbH data centre project, which involves Deutsche Telekom and US chip developer Nvidia as project partners and names Polarise as the infrastructure partner. The transaction comprised the provision and structuring of a term loan for Polarise. Noerr acted as legal adviser in an integrated role, advising on the term loan agreement, project financing issues, real estate and tax law aspects, regulatory matters and the minimisation of restructuring risks. The engagement underscores the firm’s expertise in advising advanced technology companies on complex financing transactions and in the infrastructure sector. Polarise is one of the few German end-to-end AI data centre providers, offering a modular infrastructure platform tailored for modern AI workloads to provide companies with sovereign AI computing power.
