Vinson & Elkins advised Beaver Lake Renewable Energy LLC, a subsidiary of C2X LTD, in connection with a long-term sale and purchase agreement with Microsoft for engineered carbon removal units. Under the agreement, Beaver Lake will deliver 3.6 million high-quality engineered carbon removal units (CRUs) to Microsoft over a 12-year period. The CRUs will be produced from the Beaver Lake project in Louisiana. Vinson & Elkins represented Beaver Lake Renewable Energy LLC (a subsidiary of C2X LTD) with a team composed by: partners Alan Alexander and Jenny Speck, senior associate Guy Waldron and associate Kelly McGee.
