Goodwin advised Fremman Capital, alongside Chequers Capital, in connection with the signing of an agreement to acquire the Bertin Technologies group from FCDE and BNP Paribas Développement. The contemplated transaction concerns the acquisition of Bertin Technologies. Founded in 1956 and independent since 2022, Bertin Technologies is a European leader in instrumentation for critical and scientific applications. The group is organised around four divisions: Nuclear, Photonics, Defence & Security and Life Sciences. The operation remains subject to consultation of the employee representative bodies and to the necessary regulatory approvals. Goodwin represented Fremman Capital (in the proposed transaction alongside Chequers Capital) with a team composed by: Maxence Bloch (partner, corporate), Aurélien Diday (counsel, corporate), Laura Robez-Masson (associate, corporate), Ornella Youkharibache (associate, corporate), Adrien Paturaud (partner, finance) and Marie Mognolle (associate, finance).
