FBL Avocats Advises AXOLTIS PHARMA on €18 Million Series A Financing

FBL Avocats advised AXOLTIS PHARMA in connection with its €18 million Series A financing. The financing round raised a total of €18 million and was co‑led by FIDAT VENTURES and CENITZ. The transaction attracted participation from private and institutional investors, including individual citizens mobilised through an equity crowdfunding campaign on the Capital Cell platform, business angels and Le Cercle de Chiron. A significant share of historical investors also reinvested, notably the Fonds Régional Avenir Industrie Auvergne Rhône‑Alpes (FRAI – AURA), FaDièse and Simba Santé (Angelor). The proceeds are intended to support the clinical development of NX210c, AXOLTIS PHARMA’s drug candidate currently in a Phase 2 clinical trial (SEALS) in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, also known as Charcot disease). A second tranche of the financing is conditional on the results of that trial, which are expected in the second quarter of 2026. The financing will also enable the company to pursue research into repair of the blood–brain barrier, a major objective relevant to other neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. The operation takes place in a context of continued complexity for biotechnology financing and reflects renewed investor confidence in AXOLTIS PHARMA’s scientific strategy and development potential.
