Latham & Watkins Advises L'Oréal on Strengthening Strategic Investment in Galderma

"Latham & Watkins advised Groupe L’Oréal on the acquisition of an additional 10% stake in Galderma Group AG from Sunshine SwissCo (EQT-led consortium), Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Auba Investment, raising L’Oréal’s stake to 20% and enabling exploration of a strengthened scientific partnership."

Latham & Watkins advised Groupe L’Oréal on the transaction, with L’Oréal’s in-house legal team also participating in the matter. The transaction involves L’Oréal’s acquisition of an additional 10% of the capital of Galderma Group AG, the global company exclusively dedicated to dermatology, from Sunshine SwissCo GmbH (an EQT‑led consortium), Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Auba Investment Pte. Ltd., who acted in concert as sellers. The acquisition increases L’Oréal’s stake in Galderma to 20%. L’Oréal and Galderma will explore strengthening their existing scientific partnership by leveraging the complementary expertise of the two companies.
