DWF Foundation marks 10th anniversary after surpassing £1.5m in donations

"Law firm DWF celebrated the 10th anniversary of the DWF Foundation as it surpassed £1.5m in donations, supporting more than 700 charities and food banks worldwide. The Foundation, launched in 2015, focuses on five priority areas and was strengthened by a 2019 gift of 1.8 million shares from DWF partners linked to the Group’s LSE listing."

DWF represented the DWF Foundation and the charities and communities it supports in marking the milestone of the Foundation’s 10th anniversary and the surpassing of £1.5 million in donations. The DWF Foundation, launched in 2015 by DWF, has reached more than £1.5 million in donations as it celebrates a decade of supporting communities globally. Over the past ten years the Foundation has provided funds, resources and mentoring intended to help individuals, groups and communities achieve their full potential, focusing on delivering meaningful, long-term impact in locations where DWF operates. The Foundation supports registered charities and food banks working in five priority areas: Homelessness and Poverty; Health and Wellbeing; Employability; Education; and Environment and Sustainability. In reaching the £1.5m milestone the Foundation has supported more than 700 charities and food banks worldwide, creating opportunities for people to believe, inspire and change. Colleagues across DWF have played a central role in the Foundation’s success by taking part in fundraising, volunteering, team challenges, mentoring and a wide range of initiatives to support local communities. A significant milestone in the Foundation’s development came in 2019 when DWF partners gifted 1.8 million shares as part of the Group’s listing on the London Stock Exchange, a contribution that significantly strengthened the Foundation’s long-term ability to support charities around the world.
