"Taylor Wessing advised Encavis AG on the purchase of the 41 MW Vallée de Joie wind farm under construction in Hauts‑de‑France from Enertrag SE. The seven‑turbine project (six Nordex N163 and one N149, each 5.9 MW) is due to be commissioned end‑2026 and raises Encavis's French onshore wind portfolio to 250 MW."

Taylor Wessing advised Encavis AG, with assistance from Encavis's in‑house legal team, on the acquisition of the Vallée de Joie wind farm under construction from Enertrag SE. The transaction concerns the Vallée de Joie wind farm in the Hauts‑de‑France region of northern France, with a planned total capacity of approximately 41 megawatts (MW). The asset comprises seven wind turbines — six Nordex N163 units and one Nordex N149 unit — each with a capacity of 5.9 MW. Enertrag SE is responsible for the construction of the project, and commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2026. With this acquisition Encavis continues its growth strategy in France, expanding its onshore wind portfolio in the country to 250 MW. The deal represents a further step in diversifying Encavis’s European portfolio and advancing the decarbonisation of the European energy sector. Encavis is one of Europe’s leading producers of renewable electricity, operating a diversified portfolio of onshore wind, ground‑mounted solar parks and battery storage across 13 European countries and an installed total capacity of around 4 gigawatts.
