HEUKING Advises Everwood Capital on Add-on Acquisition of CITIUS EXPRESS GmbH

"HEUKING advised Spanish private equity Everwood Capital SGEIC, S.A. on the acquisition by its portfolio company Castril Logistics S.L. of all shares in CITIUS EXPRESS GmbH in a share deal. The transaction, structured on an international basis, also included the acquisition of Spanish sister company Trans‑Pan Europe S.L. and expands Everwood's transport and logistics portfolio."

HEUKING advised Everwood Capital SGEIC, S.A. and its portfolio company Castril Logistics, S.L. on the acquisition of all shares in CITIUS EXPRESS GmbH. The transaction was structured as a share deal. Everwood Capital, which manages specialised investment vehicles including a Transport and Logistics Fund focused on SMEs in the transport and logistics sector, expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of CITIUS EXPRESS GmbH, a provider of tailored national and international door‑to‑door transport services serving industrial and commercial clients, freight forwarders and freight brokers. The acquisition formed part of an internationally structured transaction in which Castril Logistics, S.L. acquired, in addition to the shares in CITIUS EXPRESS GmbH, the Spanish sister company Trans‑Pan Europe S.L. and other group companies.
