Kirkland & Ellis Advises Montagu and Kohlberg on $1.5 Billion Acquisition of Teleflex Medical OEM

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Montagu and Kohlberg, two leading middle‑market private equity firms, in connection with their definitive agreement to acquire Teleflex Medical OEM from Teleflex Incorporated. The transaction is a $1.5 billion carve‑out acquisition. Closing is expected in the second half of 2026 and remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. Following the closing, the company will operate as an independent, global contract developer and manufacturer, positioned to bring innovative solutions to market with the strategic focus and operational flexibility to scale its model.
