Irwin Mitchell advised Lhasa Limited, the parent company of Consult Lhasa, on its acquisition of Brazil-based toxicology consultancy Spektra Consultoria; Veirano Advogados provided legal counsel in Brazil and Forvis Mazars carried out financial due diligence. The transaction sees Lhasa Limited acquire Spektra Consultoria, a Brazil-based toxicology consultancy. The deal is intended to strengthen Lhasa’s presence in Latin America and to enable the group to deliver greater value to Brazilian clients by combining Spektra’s local regulatory expertise with Consult Lhasa’s global scientific capabilities. Irwin Mitchell also supported Lhasa earlier this year in completing the twinned acquisitions of Molecular Networks GmbH Computerchemie (Germany) and Altamira LLC (USA), further demonstrating the firm’s experience on complex international transactions.
