Kyriakides Georgopoulos Advises Avis Budget Greece on EPC Agreement for 150/33 kV High‑Voltage Substation

The substation is central to Avis Budget Greece’s energy investment programme, enabling grid connection of a battery energy storage system under development (one of Greece’s first) and supporting future BESS and renewable projects."

Kyriakides Georgopoulos advised Avis Budget Greece on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement for a new 150/33‑kilovolt high‑voltage substation. The substation has an installed capacity of 90–110 megavolt‑amperes and forms a core component of Avis Budget Greece’s energy investment programme. It will enable the grid interconnection of a battery energy storage system (BESS) currently under development by the company—one of the first such projects expected to become operational in Greece—and will also facilitate the connection of future BESS and renewable energy projects.
