Wolf Theiss, working with Hogan Lovells, advised Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC Group) on its market entry into Austria and on securing production cooperation with Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik in Graz. The transaction concerns GAC’s market entry into Austria and the establishment of production capabilities for the European market. Under the agreement, Magna Steyr will assemble GAC’s electric vehicles at its Graz facilities for distribution in Europe. Guangzhou Automobile Group is a China-based automotive manufacturer. Wolf Theiss represented Guangzhou Automobile Group with a team composed by: Partners Christian Mikosch and Karin Spindler-Simader, Counsels Raphael Valenta, Angela Liu, Elisabeth Poetscher, and Stefanie Orator, and Associate Paul Samonig. Hogan Lovells acted alongside Wolf Theiss in advising Guangzhou Automobile Group on the transaction.
