Demarest Advises Transmissora Aliança on BRL 329.45 Million Debenture Issue

"Demarest acted as deal counsel to Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica on the issuance of 329,450 debentures totaling BRL 329,450,000 under CVM 160. Net proceeds will be used primarily to acquire the first series of the issuer’s 10th debenture issuance, with any remainder for general corporate purposes and working capital."

Demarest acted as deal counsel to Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica on the issuance of debentures by the issuer. The transaction comprised the issuance of 329,450 debentures by Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica, totaling BRL 329,450,000.00, carried out in accordance with CVM Instruction 160. The net proceeds raised through the subscription of the debentures will be used solely and exclusively for the optional acquisition of the first series of the issuer’s 10th (tenth) debenture issuance. Any remaining balance will be applied by the issuer to general corporate purposes and the reinforcement of working capital, as applicable.
