Mattos Filho advises Vibra Energia on sale of Evolua Etanol stake to Copersucar

Mattos Filho advised Vibra Energia and Belluzzo Advogados advised Copersucar on the transaction. Vibra Energia sold its entire 49.99% stake in Evolua Etanol to Copersucar, which already holds the remaining 50.01% of the company’s share capital. The transaction brings an end to the joint venture that had been established for ethanol trading. The parties said the move reflects new market dynamics and is aligned with Vibra’s strategy to enhance flexibility in ethanol supply. The operation remains subject to approval by Brazil’s antitrust authority CADE and the fulfillment of other customary closing conditions.
